A canine haven where pooches can frolic throughout the day, lounge on sofas or take a dip in the swimming pool has claimed a prestigious national accolade. Centre Barks K9 Stay and Play triumphed over thousands of rivals to secure the national best boarding kennel category in the Dog Friendly Awards organised by the Kennel Club.
The Sedgefield facility, sprawling across five acres of doggy paradise, received its nomination from clients - pet parents who recognise their cherished companions have an absolute ball during their stays at Centre Barks. Cesca Johnson-Harding, who established the enterprise, which also incorporates a cattery, two decades ago, expressed they are overwhelmed to receive such recognition,
