Pat Kraft has never tried to hide his passion for Penn State’s teams and their athletes.

You can usually find him at every major sporting event. He is hard to miss.

Penn State’s boisterous athletic director admitted Monday during new football coach Matt Campbell’s introductory news conference that his passion got the better of him in a recent discussion with some members of the Lions’ football team.

The discussion occurred before Campbell was hired last Friday and the audio has been making the rounds of various websites, including YouTube.

In the audio that was not intended for public consumption, Kraft touched on a variety of topics and was critical of some prominent Big Ten programs.
