US President Donald Trump on Monday announced a $12 billion farm aid package to support American farmers who have struggled to sell their crops amid rising costs arising out Washington's trade war with Beijing.

Trump unveiled the plan with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins, and several lawmakers and farmers in attendance at a White House roundtable.
