BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Buffalo man was sentenced to 20 years in prison for possessing child pornography.

Raymond Brooks, 26, was sentenced in federal court on Monday. He was previously convicted of convicted of possession of child pornography by an individual with a prior sex offense conviction, and cyberstalking.

In January 2019, Brooks was convicted in Erie County Court of Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child.

The following year, on April 23, 2020, law enforcement officials searched Brooks’ cell phone, and found images and videos containing child pornography. Investigators say some of the pictures and videos show prepubescent minors engaged in violent sexual conduct.
