GRAND FORKS — The Mixed Voices Community Choir has postponed its concert from Tuesday, Dec. 9, to Tuesday, Dec. 16, due to pending weather conditions.

The concert, titled "Songs of Comfort and Joy," will begin at 8 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church, 1405 S. Ninth St.

A free will offering will be taken to support the New Start Nook, a closet started by the local Community Agency Network Association to support people transitioning out of homelessness.

The program will feature an eclectic mix of music, including pop, doo-wop, folk and seasonal favorites, according to Whitney Berry, who organized the choir earlier this fall. Berry is the choir director at Calvary Lutheran Church and teaching associate professor of music at UND.
