FERGUS FALLS — Rebekah Deemer recorded 45 saves as the Northern Lakes Lightning were outshot 50-13 in a 5-0 Section 6-1A loss to Class 1A’s 18th-ranked Fergus Falls Otters on Friday, Dec. 5.

Lightning head coach Angus Laing did highlight the Lightning penalty kill, which killed off a 5-of-3 situation for two minutes and didn’t allow a power-play goal.

The Lightning were scheduled to host Prairie Centre at Breezy Point on Tuesday, Dec. 9, to travel to Pine City on Friday, Dec. 12, and to host Princeton at Breezy Point at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16.

WALKER — Natalie Stueven recorded a goal and an assist as the Northern Lakes Lightning came back to beat the Detroit Lakes Lakers 6-4 Tuesday, Dec. 2.

Avery Lonergan scored twice.

Kambria Thompson tallied a goal and an assist.
