Trevor Astbury and Matt Martin have joined WME as senior partners in the Motion Picture Literary department, based in Beverly Hills. Both are coming from CAA and bring with them several top-tier writers and directors. Deadline first reported last month that the two would be leaving CAA before the Thanksgiving break, and WME has now made it official.

Astbury was previously a Motion Picture Literary agent at CAA, representing a range of top writers, directors and showrunners. He was with CAA for 12 years. Before that, he was at Paradigm, where he started his career in entertainment.
