SALT LAKE CITY — A four-vehicle crash on northbound Interstate 15 caused significant delays for many commuters in Salt Lake City Monday morning.

Sgt. Mike Alexander with the Utah Highway Patrol said one of the vehicles involved was a semitruck that rolled over onto its side. It could be seen on the left shoulder of the highway in the hours after the crash.

Alexander said only one person had moderate injuries in the crash. He was unsure if the patient had been taken to the hospital or if they were treated at the scene.

Four of five lanes of the highway were closed during peak commute hours on the highway, with lanes still closed as of approximately 8:30 a.m.
