BRAZORIA COUNTY, Texas – TxDOT says the northbound lanes of SH-35 at Bar X Trail in Brazoria County will be closed for at least 24 hours as crews work to clean-up molten sulfur that spilled from an overturned 18-wheeler.
The incident happened early Monday morning west of Angleton.
The southbound lanes was opened to two-way traffic to keep vehicles moving, but the northbound lanes will be closed for at least 24 hours.

Crews have had to wait for the sulfur to cool before they can begin clean-up efforts.
