GATLINBURG, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Great Smoky Mountains National Park said one of its most popular roads closed Monday afternoon.
US 441, commonly known as Newfound Gap Road, closed due to weather conditions at 4 p.m.

Currently, it is the only roadway in the park that is closed due to weather conditions.
Officials said it will reopen when crews determine it’s safe for travel.
