GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WILX) - A traffic stop turned into a deadly shootout in Grand Rapids over the weekend.
On Monday, Grand Rapids police officials released body camera and dashcam footage of the shooting.
Officials believe around 50 total shots were fired during the exchange.

On Saturday, Dec. 6, Grand Rapids police responded to a “domestic incident” of a man threatening a woman with a gun. Police attempted to contact the man at the home, but were unsuccessful.
Police received another report around 4:00 p.m. from the same caller, saying the man was threatening to shoot himself.
Officers were formulating a plan to safely approach the home when the man exited the home and fled in his car.
