After years of living outside, one rescue dog started a precious nighttime routine in her foster home that quickly became a tearjerker among TikTok viewers.
Danielle Vitti began fostering dogs through Real Dog Rescue in New Jersey at the start of the pandemic. She has since hosted over 100 dogs in her home. She told Newsweek via TikTok that her current foster, Grandmama or Ginny, was found as a stray in Louisiana.
"Based on her condition, it seems like she spent her entire life outdoors," Vitti said. "She came to the rescue in really rough shape — extremely sick with heartworm disease, underweight, and clearly neglected."
