CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - There’s growing confusion Monday night about the criminal past of the man accused in the most recent Charlotte light rail stabbing .
Oscar Solarzano is charged with stabbing a man on the Blue Line on Friday, but questions are surfacing about his record and whether he should’ve even been out of jail.
A judge on Monday morning denied bond for Solarzano.
In court Monday morning, prosecutors with the Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s office say they were not able to find a criminal history for Solarzano in their search.
Mecklenburg County Sheriff Garry McFadden says Solarzano has not been an inmate in the county detention center before.
Court documents say Solarzano has previously been deported and is now under an ICE detainer. The latest immigration detain
