LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Repair work will close a lane of the Gene Snyder Freeway for a few days beginning Tuesday.

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the left lane of the I-265 East will be closed from mile marker 7 to mile marker 9 – between New Cut Road and National Turnpike.

The closure will begin on Tuesday at 7 p.m. and continue through Thursday at noon.

KYTC said the closure is due to concrete slab repairment along the highway and to allow for sufficient curing time.

Motorists in the area should drive with caution and follow all traffic control measures within the work zone.
