After this year’s Golden Globes nominations were announced bright and early on Monday, executive producers Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner took a few minutes to discuss the upcoming telecast — and weigh in on having the show spoofed on The Studio .

The pair are serving as executive producing showrunners for the third year, which Weiss admitted that even with some experience, “I don’t know if I would ever use the word ‘easier,’ but certainly you’re walking into something that you know a little bit more what to expect. But honestly, this is a party. It’s the opening awards show of the year, and we’re just looking forward to the fun of it all.”
