Even in something as straightforward as the Somerset-Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade, there can be plenty of storylines of which to take note.

For one, the Pulaski County High School band was able to whip through the parade as first in line behind the banner to help them make it to Lexington in time to support their school in the state championship football game, after switching spots with Somerset High School's band, who came decked out not in traditional marching uniforms but festive Christmas sweaters.
