Authorities have released the name of the Harvey woman killed when investigators say she tried to stop her husband from shooting her son during an argument.

The Jefferson Parish Coroner's identified her as 68-year-old Robbie Walker.

Walker was shot Saturday morning outside of her home in the 2200 block of Deerlick Lane. The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office said her husband, Zed Walker Jr., 66, was the shooter.

The couple allegedly had a history of domestic disturbances, according to authorities who said they had been called to the residence on other occasions.

On Saturday morning, Robbie Walker's 36-year-old son, Zed Walker's stepson, came to the home to tried to mediate the disagreement between the couple, authorities said.
