The New Jersey father whose two daughters were killed while trying to save him from a house fire on Thanksgiving has died, according to a GoFundMe for the family.

Organizer and relative Sidney Augustin said that Frantz Fleury died in the hospital on Sunday, Dec. 7.

Frantz is survived by his wife, Irmisse; grandchildren Genesis and Nathaniel; son-in-law Joshua; along with nieces and nephews.

"He is now at peace and reunited with his two beloved daughters," Augustin said.

A funeral service this weekend will honor Frantz and his daughters, Frantzia, 49, and Pojanee, aka PJ, 42.

Frantzia and PJ were helping Frantz escape their home at 600 Mosswood Ave. in West Orange when a 5 p.m. blaze broke out on Thanksgiving, Essex County Prosecutor’s Office spokesperson Carmen Martin previously said at the time. The sisters were pronounced dead at the scene just before 6:50 p.m.

Frantz was one of six other people inside the home.  Further details about his passing and the fire were not immediately available.
