HINDMAN, Ky. (WYMT) - Pike County Central defeated Leslie County 63 to 45 in the opening game of the 2025 WYMT Food City Mountain Basketball Classic.

The Leslie County boys had a one point lead heading into the fourth quarter but Pike Central pulled away in the end.

Al Holland won his first Mountain Classic game as coach of Pike Central, one year after guiding the Hazard Bulldogs to their sixth championship.
