Guests on a Dec. 8 media tour of the reconstructed Bob Hall Pier watched contractors operate a crane to lift concrete beams that will be added to the pier, moving the project one step closer to completion.

The pier contractor, Callan Marine, began moving the project's longitudinal beams to the site by barge Dec. 6, putting it back on schedule to complete the project by Jan. 7, 2026, to fulfill the original terms of the contract.
