Monday night’s Powerball jackpot is the seventh largest in the game’s history and one of the largest of 2025. The estimated grand prize for the Dec. 8 drawing is worth $875 million with a cash option of $403.6 million.
MLive will provide results of the drawing shortly after it takes place at 11 p.m. EST.
There have been 39 drawings without a jackpot winner, leading to tonight’s massive jackpot. The last time anyone won the grand prize was on Sept. 6 when a player in Missouri and a player in Texas matched all five white balls and the red Powerball to split a $1.787 billion prize.
Powerball is offered in 45 States, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Players select five white numbers from (1 to 69) and one red ball (1 to 26). Tickets cost $2 each.
