Notre Dame athletic director Pete Bevacqua didn't hold back after the College Football Playoff Selection Committee left the Irish out of the 12-team playoff. Instead Miami (ACC) earned a spot, a team that beat Notre Dame 27-24 in the season opener.

From there Notre Dame decided to withdraw their name from consideration for a bowl game, ending its 2025 season with a 10-2 record and on an eight-game win streak.

On Monday, Bevacqua expressed his feelings on "The Dan Patrick Show" with how the ACC pushed for Miami over Notre Dame leading up to the selections.
