Annapolis Mayor Jared Littmann has hired two members of his campaign staff for positions in the mayor’s office, the city announced Monday.

These appointments are the first of several high-profile appointments set to be made by the new mayor, who will be involved in the process to select a new city manager and finance chair. Littmann was sworn into office on Dec. 1 after a Democratic sweep in the November city elections.

Littmann’s campaign manager, Neilye Garrity, will be his chief of staff. She was the executive director of PlayAnnapolis, an organization that represents youth sports groups in the city, until September of this year. Garrity is also the founder of Candid Career, a career video service.
