On the seventh day of the Winter Session of Parliament, the Lok Sabha will hold a major discussion on Election Reforms and Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list. A time slot of 10 hours has been allocated for the debate.

Congress president Rahul Gandhi, along with 10 other opposition leaders, will participate in the discussion, while Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal will respond on December 10.

The focus of the debate will be on allegations of vote theft, the credibility of the Election Commission, and the demand for comprehensive electoral reforms. The opposition has been continuously targeting the government over the SIR exercise.
