MANCHESTER, N.H. —
A woman is being recognized for her kindness after donating a kidney to her sister in New Hampshire.
Jessica McNeill said her kidney function had dropped to about 8% because of a disease. After learning she was a match, her sister, Erin, chose to donate her kidney.
On Monday, the nonprofit Kidneys for Kindness gave Erin an $8,000 check to support her during recovery.

"As far as Kidneys for Kindness goes, just the whole organization, the idea of supporting the donor, was the reason that I jumped right on it, because I just couldn't thank my sister in words," McNeill said.
The nonprofit, founded in 2023, raises money to support kidney donors and increase awareness about kidney health
