A bank robbery unfolded at Flagstar Bank on Long Island on Monday, Dec. 8, Suffolk County Police announced.
A man walked into the Flagstar Bank at 653 Montauk Highway in West Babylon at approximately 3:45 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding cash, according to the police. The teller complied, and the suspect ran eastbound on foot toward a waiting sedan, police said.
The robber is described as white, in his mid-40s, with a thin build. He is bald with graying facial hair and was wearing a dark-colored jacket at the time of the robbery, detectives detailed.
