U.S. Marshals on Monday arrested a Portland man accused of killing his 15-day-old baby in May.

Baby Arlo Darnielle-Arroyo died on May 8 after being admitted to a Portland hospital with life threatening injuries , Portland police said. A medical examiner determined the baby died from blunt force trauma.

Portland police investigated the baby’s death as a homicide, and in November a grand jury indicted the boy’s father, Felipe Arroyo Jr., 38, on charges of second-degree murder, assault and criminal mistreatment, police said in a news release.
