Program allows Atlanta elementary students to earn points to spend on holiday gifts for their loved ones

ATLANTA — Hundreds of students in Atlanta this holiday season are learning that giving can be just as rewarding as receiving.

At Cascade Elementary and Dunbar Elementary, a special program is helping kids experience the joy of generosity, and it all starts with points they've earned through good deeds.

It's a lesson in kindness and generosity at Cascade Elementary and Dunbar Elementary Students aren't just receiving gifts -- they're earning the chance to give them.

Through the Earn2Give program , the children spend weeks earning points for positive actions, such as good attendance, perseverance, and helping others. Those points are then spent at a special holiday gift market set up right inside their schools.
