LACONIA — A water main break over the weekend left a dozen customers without service for two days.
A water main, located at the intersection of Lexington Drive and Lynnewood Road near the industrial park, broke Saturday afternoon around 3:30 p.m., Laconia Water Department Superintendent Benjamin Crawford said Monday morning.
Crews were working to investigate and repair the break by 7:30 a.m. Monday. Service was expected to be restored to 13 homes Monday afternoon.
Water Department leaders were notified of the break by the Laconia Fire Department, who reported water coming up above ground over the weekend, and sent two of their employees to investigate it Saturday afternoon.
