Kerala Local Body Election 2025 Voter Turnout Live Updates: Kerala is holding the first phase of its local body elections on Tuesday (Dec 9) in seven districts -Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki and Ernakulam. The polling began at 7 am, covering wards in 595 local bodies. Across the seven districts, 1,32,83,789 voters are eligible to cast their votes. This includes 70,32,444 women, 62,51,219 men, and 126 transgender voters. The second phase of the elections will be held on December 11, and counting of votes will take place on December 13.
