WISCONSIN (WQOW) - The winter season has just begun and so has a spate of multiple ice-related incidents in western Wisconsin.
Since December 1, there's been at least four ice incidents in western Wisconsin, with the most recent in Taylor County turning fatal.

The emotional cost to families and loved ones is immeasurable, but these types of incidents also bring significant logistical challenges.
Keith Cormican is the director of Bruce's Legacy, a nonprofit that specializes in water recovery of drowned victims. Cormican also assisted with the December 5 recovery operation in Taylor County, which brought unique weather-related challenges.
