ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Charges have been filed after a Granite City police officer was shot.

On Friday, a police officer was shot in the 2000 block of Johnson Road. DJ Marshall was later identified as a suspect in the shooting.

According to police, after an hours-long manhunt, Marshall was found at 3 a.m. Saturday, inside an abandoned car in the 2500 block of Missouri Avenue.

On Monday, Marshall was charged with one count each of attempted murder with intent to kill or injure, aggravated battery, possession of a firearm by a repeat felon, and a felon in possession of a weapon.
