The UK is bracing for a bout of extreme weather , with flood warnings in place as rain and wind are set to lash the majority of the country. The Met Office has forecasted that Storm Bram will likely result in flooding and travel disruptions in certain areas from the early hours of Tuesday morning.

With up to 100mm of rainfall predicted in some regions , there are heightened flood alerts spread across numerous counties. Alongside these significant downpours, parts of the UK are also expected to be hit by winds reaching speeds of 85mph, reports the Mirror .
