GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - President Donald Trump announced Monday a $12 billion farm aid package to offset losses from the trade war with China.

However, farmers here in northeast Wisconsin are still hoping that it’s just the beginning.

In the moments following President Trump’s announcement of a multi-billion-dollar relief plan for America’s farmers, many of those who are impacted, including Crivitz farmer Joe Dudkiewicz, reacted.

He learned about the aid package while on the job. “Right now we’re working on finishing up our corn harvest,” Joe Dudkiewicz said.
