Waymo eyed after reports of self-driving cars passing school buses

GREENE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Waymo, the ride-hailing service, is under increased scrutiny after reports that its self-driving taxis failed to stop for school buses as required by law.

“We’re hearing some reports of them passing stopped school buses with that stop arm out, which is, of course, a big safety concern,” said Joe Young with the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
