A driver has been left with a heavy price to pay after another motorist smashed into his car twice before driving off. Hassan, 29, from Radcliffe was driving in Broughton on Friday evening (December 5) when a car towing a trailer rammed into his Volkswagen Golf.

He said that he had stopped to give way as he was turning onto Leicester Road from Great Cheetham Street East when the other vehicle hit his car. However, the driver of the vehicle drove off immediately and, according to Hassan, he has still not been found.
