The team, struggling through their coaching search, found relief when Matt Campbell arrived as head coach.

Coach Campbell instantly made NCAA headlines. People still debate whether the decision was good or bad, but Pat Kraft needed a strong coach for the team.

Now that the need is mostly fulfilled, head coach Matt Campbell shoulders all of Penn State’s responsibility.

Before the 46-year-old coach even began his work, he showcased both his strengths and weaknesses during a press conference with Josh Pate.
