On Tuesday at 1:28 a.m. the National Weather Service released a winter weather advisory valid for Wednesday between 3 a.m. and 10 p.m. for Northern Lycoming as well as Tioga and Sullivan counties.
The weather service says to anticipate, "Snow could fall heavy at times late Wednesday morning and Wednesday afternoon. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 5 inches. Locally up to 6 inches possible across the higher terrain of Eastern Lycoming and Sullivan counties. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph from the South and Southwest."
