New Delhi, Dec 9: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday told NDA MPs that no innocent Indian should face harassment or inconvenience due to any law or rule, stressing that such measures must always serve the common people. Addressing an NDA parliamentary party meeting, he said reforms should extend across all sectors of society, not just the economy.
Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju, briefing reporters after the meeting, said the prime minister laid out clear guidelines for lawmakers, urging them to ensure that rules and regulations improve lives rather than create hurdles.
