A man has been jailed for his involvement in a gang who stole two lorries in a rampage at a Middlesbrough Council depot. Nathan Smith, along with three other men, stole the vehicles, which were later involved in a ram-raid on a JD Sports store, as reported by Teesside Live.

Smith, 35, and the three other men broke into Middlesbrough Council's Cargo Fleet Lane depot on the night of August 18. The four burglars wore gloves and kept their hoods up as they ransacked offices and tried the doors to storage units.
