EXCLUSIVE : Joanne Froggatt , the Golden Globe-winning actress who shot to fame in Downton Abbey , is closing her production company, Insight Pictures .

Froggatt founded Insight in 2020 and two years later signed an exclusive first-look deal with MGM International Television Productions. Under the pact, she set up Love to Tell the Tale , a comedy TV series about a single woman’s quest for motherhood.

In a statement, Froggatt said: “Winding up Insight Pictures was a considered personal decision as I shift my focus toward my family and my acting work. Leading the company was a valuable and rewarding experience, and I am grateful for all that it taught me.”
