Delays have hit the M6 northbound between Nuneaton and Coventry following an accident. West Midlands Roads has reported delays of up to 30 minutes this morning (December 9).

It follows a reported collision on M6 northbound between junctions J3 and J4. Drivers are being warned that they face several miles of congestion.

"There are currently delays up to 30 minutes against expected traffic," West Midlands Roads posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Traffic reporting website Inrix has said that the M6 Northbound is partially blocked, with queueing traffic due to accident from J3 A444 Bedworth Bypass (Nuneaton / Coventry) to J4 M42 J7 at Coleshill.
