Ten weather warnings are in force across the UK as Storm Bram sweeps the country. Heavy rain and strong winds have been battering parts of the UK overnight, with similar conditions expected to continue this morning (December 9).

In Greater Manchester, a yellow weather warning for rain covers some northern parts of the region. Parts of Bolton , Bury and Rochdale boroughs are included in the warning, which came into force at midnight and lasts until 3pm today.

But heavy rain is expected across the region this morning, with two flood alerts issued by the Environment Agency . Forecasters expect heavy rain to continue in most of Greater Manchester until around 11am, when it should ease to light rain.
