SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) -Starting today, high pressure settles in behind yesterday’s front. This brings in cooler, much drier air, and skies will clear out from north to south as the day goes on. You’ll notice the drop in humidity pretty quickly—mornings feel crisp, afternoons stay comfortable, and overall, it’s a clean break from the unsettled weather earlier in the week.
That same high-pressure system stays put through the rest of the week and into the weekend. With it holding over the region, the weather pattern becomes very steady: temperatures hover right around what’s typical for early December, and skies stay mostly clear to partly cloudy each day. Rain chances remain very low, so anything outdoors—from holiday lights to weekend plans—looks safe.
Winds may be elevated a bit today, s
