LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - The Lansing Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened in the 900 block of Eureka St. early Tuesday morning. Details are limited, but News 10 has reached out to police to learn more.

Our News 10 crew on scene observed a large police presence near the scene of the shooting as well as officers near Sparrow Hospital, which is only blocks away from the scene of the shooting.

This was the 2nd shooting that Lansing Police responded to overnight, after a 15-year-old boy was shot in the leg on the south side of Lansing late Monday night. He is expected to survive. Police have given no indication that the two incidents are related at all.
