Advocate Rakesh Kishore who hurled a shoe at former Chief Justice of India B R Gavai in Supreme Court was purportedly manhandled by a group of unidentified men at Karkardooma Court in the national capital on Tuesday.

While the video of the incident has gone viral, the reason behind the alleged attack on the lawyer is not yet known.

Advocate Deepak Kumar from Karkardooma district courts told The Indian Express , “I learnt about the incident after I came out of a hearing from a courtroom. My colleagues told me that the lawyer who had hurled a shoe on former CJI BR Gavai got involved into verbal and physical scuffle with some lawyers here.”
