Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged that passengers should not face inconvenience amid the ongoing IndiGo flight cancellation crisis.
Speaking to reporters, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that the Prime Minister emphasised that “people should not be troubled” due to operational disruptions.
“During the NDA parliamentary meeting, the PM told NDA MPs that people should not face inconvenience. Rules and laws are important, but correcting the system should not come at the cost of harassing citizens,” Rijiju said.
The remarks come as Parliament gears up to discuss the IndiGo crisis alongside other legislative matters during the Winter Session. Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu is expected to provide updates and outline the government’s steps to restore normal
