It was an exciting week of high school sports action in the Greater Savannah area as Benedictine and Calvary Day punched their tickets to the GHSA State football finals on Friday night.

On Thursday, Jenkins, Calvary Day, Richmond Hill and St. Vincent's all won two games to advance to the GHSA Flag Football State quarterfinals.

There were also some memorable performances on the basketball court as the season starts to heat up.
