Another high school football season has come and gone in Cleveland, Gaston and Lincoln counties . However, here’s an opportunity for fans to have their say as to what players and coaches were best this fall.

Here are 32 standouts — 16 from the offensive side of the football, 16 on defense — from Cleveland, Gaston and Lincoln counties in the running for 2025 fan’s choice awards. Players were selected based on overall performance and statistical rankings throughout this football season.

Readers also have the opportunity to vote for the area’s top coach. Polls will close Tuesday, Dec. 23 at 11:59 p.m. Vote as many times as you like in the polls below.
