Most income tax payers have filed their Income Tax Return (ITR) for the financial year 2024-2025, and now they are waiting for Income Tax forms for next financial year 2025-26. The Income Tax (I-T) Department, however, is yet to issue these ITR forms. But how soon can it issue the forms? In January 2026, or later? This issue was raised in Lok Sabha during the winter session on Monday, where an MP asked the Finance Ministry to tell if ITR forms will be issued in January 2026.
